What is creatine?

Creatine is a common supplement in the bodybuilding industry. It is usually consumed to enhance muscle mass and increase athletic performance over time.

It’s an organic compound that is produced in the liver and kidneys. Creatine is found in the muscles and brain tissues of people, where it’s used to recycle ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is basically the source of energy for your cells.
